Disability Insurance for Town & School Department Employees

An Act Permitting the Town of Concord and the Concord-Carlisle Regional School District to Negotiate a Plan for Disability Insurance for Their Employees. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court, assembled and by the authority of the same as follows:

Section 1.


The town of Concord and the Concord-Carlisle regional school district, acting by and through its town manager, board of selectmen, school superintendent and school committees, are hereby authorized to negotiate with one or more insurance carriers and administer a plan for disability insurance for active town and school and district employees. Up to 100% of the premiums associated with such a plan shall be paid by the qualified active employees who participate either directly or through payroll deductions.

Section 2.


This act shall take effect upon its passage.
