CONSERVATION COMMISSION
VOTED:         that the Town accept §8C of Chapter 40 of the M.G.L. and that the Town adopt the following bylaw.  

There shall be established a Conservation Commission, with all the rights and duties set forth in §8C of Chapter 40 of the M.G.L., for the promotion and development of the natural resources and for the protection of watershed resources of the Town.  The commission shall consist of five members appointed by the Town Manager, subject to the approval of the Selectmen, one member to serve for a term of one year, two members to serve for terms of two years and two members to serve for terms of three years, their successors to be appointed for terms of three years each.

Editor’s Note:     In   Concord  , the Natural Resources Commission serves as the Town’s Conservation Commission.
