October 15, 2011 DropOff/SwapOff
A big THANK YOU to all the volunteers, CPW staff and others who helped out at another successful DropOff & SwapOff Day on Saturday. It turned out to be a beautiful autumn day, with just a brief shower near the end of the event. Attendance at the DropOff was down a bit from previous highs, with 890 paying vehicles coming through checkout, but that's still quite a healthy total (roughly one vehicle every 23 seconds, on average)! As usual, we have no way to count how many people came through the SwapOff area, but those who were there know it was busy.

Once again we had more than 140 volunteers helping out during the course of the day. A special thank you to the many volunteers who stayed on for an extra shift or switched to a different area as we juggled people to cover everything. Everyone did a wonderful job.
