Paul Revere earned his living as a silversmith. But what do we remember him for? His volunteer work. – Susan J. Ellis
The Volunteer Program is the backbone of the Council on Aging. With over 300 generous and motivated volunteers, the COA maintains a gift shop, runs an art gallery, handles a CCTV production, and provides seasonal yard work for seniors in need. Help staff our offices. Volunteers have run cell phone programming seminars, arranged for snow shoveling, provided grocery assistance and Friendly Visitors for seniors.

We’d love to have you join us! Volunteers and teams of volunteers can be assigned “one off” projects or serve on a more long term basis. Whether your interests are gardening or technology, whether your availability is occasional or regular, there is a spot for you in the COA’s Volunteer Program! I enjoy working with seniors, youth, and everything in between. Please call to discuss your interests…
