Monday holidays never affect collection. When a major holiday falls on a Tuesday - Friday, that day’s collection and all remaining collections for the week will be delayed one day. Friday collection will occur on Saturday.

Inclement Weather Schedule
Snow and other inclement weather will not affect collection unless roads are clearly impassable. Residents should not set out materials unless roads are driveable and containers will not interfere with snow removal or safe passage on roadways and sidewalks. When in doubt, residents are encourage to wait until the following week.
Snow - When weather is bad but roads are passable, collection will occur as scheduled, but residents are encouraged to hold materials until the following week in order to minimize the number of roadside obstacles that may interfere with plowing and or when snow piles make barrel placement difficult. Occasionally only a few individual roads are impassable due to ice or snow. In most cases these roads will be collected on the following day.
Severe Snow Storm - Residents should not set out materials unless roads are clearly driveable and containers will not interfere with snow removal or safe passage on roadways and sidewalks. In the event of a very severe storm that makes it impossible or dangerous for trucks to collect materials, collection will be cancelled for that day and materials will not be collected until their regular collection day the following week. Drivers will not return for missed pickups following severe storms. Residents should bring containers in from the streets and wait until the following week.
Rain - During heavy rains residents are encouraged not to set out paper or cardboard until the following week in order to prevent paper from becoming soaked.
Wind - Windy days make collection difficult and results in empty barrels blowing into the street. Use your judgement about about whether to wait until the following week to set materials at curbside.
