From such time as a lawsuit is filed, or litigation commences against the Town or on behalf of the Town, all public comments regarding the matter will be made by either Town Counsel, the Assistant Town Manager, or the Town Manager. Department heads and subordinate employees will refrain from making any unauthorized statements or in any way discussing such a case with the general public or the press.
