The Concord Carlisle Scholarship Fund is a tax-exempt charitable trust which is affiliated with New England Dollars for Scholars, a program of Scholarship America. Established in 1966, the Fund provides need-based grants to assist deserving young women and men obtain, to the fullest extent possible, the benefit of additional educational opportunities that may be open to them after completion of their secondary school studies. The Fund is administered by an all-volunteer board of trustees. Scholarships are financed by an annual appeal, by a student-staffed phonathon, and by income generated from memorial gifts, bequests, and twenty-seven (27) named funds. Grant recipients must either reside, or have attended school, in Concord or Carlisle. Since its inception, the Fund has assisted over 1,000 students. This year, the Trustees were pleased to award $133,750 to high school seniors and in-college students while its affiliates supplemented this amount with another $43,250.

Smith Fund), Jennifer Uzoma, (The Mark Teverovsky Fund), Marie Benkley, Elena Colman, Jessica Murphy and Madeline Schultz (The Charles K. Yeremian Award), and Maya Burns (The Tameji & Chivo Yoshimura Memorial Fund). Concord Carlisle Trustees' Fund scholarships were granted to Margot Campbell, James Constable, Ashley White.

cchs senior Taylor Maslowski received The Bobby Gray Memorial Scholarship and Vanessa Rao received The Tama Ishihara Memorial Scholarship, newly established named funds monitored by the Concord Carlisle Scholarship Fund for the first time this year.

In addition, the Scholarship Fund Trustees awarded the Rivercrest-Deaconess-Newbury Court Award to Joshua Lee and The David R. Woodin Memorial vfw Scholarship to Jaime Macone. Lorna MacDougall received The Welch Scholarship. Heather Aziz, Anna Daigle, Noel Eastman, Jennifer Fantasia, Melissa Judson and Jinzhao Wang received Rotary Club of Concord scholarships.

The Committee also helped to coordinate awards presented to the following students: Jacob Faucher and Luke Henesy (The Carlisle Garden Club), Sarah Bird, Merli Guerra, Linh Ha and Elisa Purinton (The Charles Williams Fund), Coretta McGill (The Concord Children's Center), Colin Corr and Jessica Murphy (The Concord Women's Club), Kathryn Bailey, Matthew Hammer, Jaime Macone and Kathryn Schaefer (The West Concord Woman's Club), and Meera Dhingra, Mary Halstrom, Nicholas Lunig, Renee Salvo, Luke Sideris, Caleb Silverman, Justin Silverman, Hillary Urbanic (various Town of Concord named scholarships).
