Gifts

In 2006, the Town received many gifts from local residents, charities and other organizations. Gifts in excess of $500 are formally accepted by the Board of Selectmen. This year, well over $225,000 was generously contributed towards the Visitor Center, Natural Resources Commission, the Restorative Justice program, police and fire safety accounts, the Hugh Cargill Fund, the Council on Aging and other community services accounts, the Concord Open Golf Tournament (with proceeds funding summer camp scholarships), the Beede Swim and Fitness Center, and numerous other enhancements to Town activities.
