After six consecutive years of passing overrides of Proposition 2 ½ to support school and Town departmental operating budgets, the Selectmen and Finance Committee requested that there be no override proposed in 2007. Town Meeting approved budgets in April that maintained all key services without the need for an override. A similar effort has been suggested for 2008.
