Pavement improvements are planned by the Mass Dept. of Transportation on the Route 2 Rotary from the old RR crossing west of the rotary through the rotary to the Assabet River Bridge (east of the State Police barracks). This work will begin on Sunday night July 15 through Wednesday, July 18 from 8 P.M. through 5 A.M.
Some detours and closing of ramps will occur throughout this time period with Barrett’s Mill Road, Route 2A and Comm. Ave being detoured on Monday and Wednesday and minor detours on Sunday and Tuesday. Local traffic will be permitted using alternate lane closures. The State is utilizing variable message boards to provide details.
