Concord Anniversary Celebrations - Collections Guide
The Town of Concord Archives and the William Munroe Special Collections at the Concord Free Public Library house several collections related to celebrations of the Town Birthday (September 12, 1635) and the Anniversary of the Concord Fight (April 19, 1775). With the Semiquincentennial (250th) anniversary of the Concord Fight approaching on April 19, 2025 and the Quadricentennial (400th) Town Birthday coming on September 12, 2035, we have seen increased interest in these collections. This guide was created to help direct people to the varied resources.
