Death Certificates

Obtaining Copies & Fees

The Town Clerk's Office is responsible for original records of all deaths that have occurred in Concord, including Emerson Hospital. All death certificates are public records. A certified copy of a death certificate may be obtained in person or by mail. The fee is $10 for each certified copy (note that this is a change in rate as of January 1, 2013). There is no fee for burial permits.

Online Requests & Payment

Online death Certificate payments can now be made through your checking account or with a debit or credit card. You will receive your documents via mail (rush delivery available for an extra fee). This secure service is made possible through an agreement with Unibank. A nominal fee will apply to credit card transactions, while there is no charge to pay directly from your checking account.
