Trash & Recycling

Concord's curbside collection program is fee funded.  Tax dollars do not support the program. The Town contracts with Waste Management for residential trash & recycling collection. To receive weekly trash and recycling collection, residents can subscribe to the Town's curbside collection program  at the Town House, 22 Monument Square, M-F 8:30-4:30 (summer hours may vary), or via mail by mailing in a subscription application.

Subscribers pay two separate fees: a semi-annual subscription fee of $136 and a disposal fee ($1.50 per tag or $39 for a six-month barrel sticker). Trash tags and barrel stickers can be purchased at the Town House and retail establishments.

Subscribers provide their own barrel(s). Please note there is a 34-gallon size limit for barrels, and  a 40 lb. weight limit per barrel / bag. Click Here for trash preparation guidelines.  For information on discarding bulky waste and other items and debris not typically collected at the curb, click here.

Concord’s recycling program is dual stream. The Town provides each subscriber two recycling bins (one for paper products; one for commingled materials). Click here for complete recycling preparation guidelines.
