2021 ANNUAL TOWN MEETING & COVID-19
Due to the continued COVID-19 pandemic, Concord Annual Town Meeting this year will follow many of the COVID protocols implemented for Concord Annual Town Meeting last year (in 2020). Town Meeting is scheduled to take place outdoors, on the Doug White Field at Concord Carlisle Regional High School, on Sunday, June 13th, 2021, at 1:00 pm (rain date: Monday, June 14th, 2021 at 5:00 pm). The Moderator developed the COVID Protocol in consultation with the Select Board and Concord’s Public Health and Safety Officials to provide a participatory experience while protecting public health. This Protocol has been published and is accessible on this site. The protocol will be updated as necessary.
What is Town Meeting?
Town Meeting is both an event and an entity. As an event, it is a gathering of a town’s eligible voters, and is referred to as “the Town Meeting.” As an entity, it is the legislative body for towns in Massachusetts, and is referred to simply as “Town Meeting.”
