Health & Wellness


The Council on Aging Wellness program consists of clinics, consultations and educational programs designed to support healthy aging. Clinics include blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring, podiatry and other special clinics such as the yearly flu immunization.

Blood Pressure Screening

Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, nurses are available to take your blood pressure and answer questions. To get the most out of your visit please bring a list of medications you are taking. No need to call ahead just come in.

Diabetic Clinic

One Wednesday each month from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM, our Diabetic Nurse will check blood sugar and address any concerns you may have regarding a pre-diabetic or diabetic condition, including nutritional counseling. No need to sign up.

Listen & Learn

Our Listen and Learn events offer a unique opportunity to hear an educational and interesting speaker talking about current, relevant health topics.

Podiatry Clinic

Once a month the Council on Aging sponsors a podiatry clinic at the Harvey Wheeler Community Center. Dr. Dan Selligman and Dr. Ayleen Gregorian join us alternating months.
