On August 7, 2023 the Select Board voted unanimously to adopt a RESIDENTIAL EXEMPTION for Fiscal Year 2024. The Assessing Division is responsible for the implementation of the Residential Exemption and the Application Process. We are here to support the Select Board by providing information and implementing the Residential Exemption fairly and accurately.

This exemption is available to all residents of Concord who owned and occupied their property as their principal residence as of January 1, 2023. You must submit a copy of the front page of your 2022 Federal Income Taxes with your application to verify your residency.
If your property is held in a trust you must submit a copy of the trust document along with the front page of your 2022 Federal Income Taxes to verify your ownership in the property.
We encourage you to submit the application and supporting documentation by November 1, 2023 if possible, otherwise the final deadline is April 1, 2024.
