The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning/heat advisory for our area for Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24 where heat index values are expected to be between 100 to 110 degrees with continued high humidity.  

• Stay hydrated by drinking water
• Slow down and avoid strenuous activity
• Do not leave children or animals in hot cars
• Check on your vulnerable neighbors

Please visit Concord public buildings such as the Main Library, Fowler Library Branch and Harvey Wheeler Community Center for air conditioning as needed during scheduled hours.   After hours, contact the dispatch number at 978-318-3400 for assistance in seeking relief from the heat.  For emergencies, call 911.
